Lesbos, sometimes called Lesvos,

is a beautiful Greek island located in northeastern Aegean Sea. Mytilini is its capital and the main town, other important settlements are Kalloni, Plomari, Agiassos, Eresos, Gera and Molyvos. The tourism and the traditional industrie are very important in the economy of Lesvos, especially the industry of ship building and the growing olives. Lesbos is the third largest Greek island and is separated from Turkey by the narrow Strait of Mytilini. The coast of Lesvos has several small stunning beaches.
