The Musée Picasso is housed
in the beautifully restored Hôtel Salé in Marais, Paris. The scenery is excellent for this vast collection of paintings, sculpture, drawings and other works of Pablo Picasso, including works of his Cubist period. Paris has the world’s largest collection of paintings by Pablo Picasso because when the Spanish artist died, the family donated thousands of his works to the French state as paying taxes.
