Paris is one of the most visited

cities of the world, plenty of highlights known worldwide. Paris is a charming city with unique romantism. The banks of the River Seine are UNESCO World Heritage Site and provides stunning walks. There are many tourist spots to visit such as the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysees, the Sacre Coeur, the Rue de Rivoli, the Conciergerie, the Palais de Justice, the Hotel des Invalides, the Pantheon, the Church of St Etienne du Mont, the Sainte Chapelle, the Opera Garnier, the Opera Bastille, the Theatre du Châtelet and many others. The River Seine has two beautiful islands in the centre of the city, the Ile de la Citè and Ile de St Louis. Paris is also rich in famous neighborhoods like Rive Gauche, Faubourg Saint-Honore, Le Marais, L’Opera, Montmartre, Montparnasse, Forum des Halles, Quartier St Germain or the Quartier Latin. It is a city of overwhelming beauty that leaves visitors with a extreme will to return. Montmartre is one of the most charming neighborhoods of Paris, there is the Place du Tertre, where many artists lived among them Salvador Dali. There are two famous cemeteries, they seem a museum due to the importance of the people buried there, the Montmartre and the Père Lachaise with Jim Morrison’s grave. Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world, there are two main airports Charles de Gaulle and Orly there is also a third airport located in Beauvais. The busiest rail station in Paris is Gare du Nord where most of the visitors arrive. In sports Paris has two big football stadiums, the Stade de France and the Parc des Princes.

Transports in Paris

Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG): It is one of the most busiest airports of Europe. The CDGVAL is a shuttle train that connects the terminals of airport, it’s free and fast. RER is the train the links the Charles de Gaulle Airport to the centre of Paris stopping in Gare du Nord. Adult ticket cost 9,5€ and the journey to Gare du Nord takes about 35 minutes.

Orly Airport (ORY): The second airport of Paris is also one of the most busiest of Europe, is older international airport and are used mainly for the domestic flights. Shuttles runs to/from Paris (10,75€).

Beauvais Airport (BVA): This airport is located north of Paris and is used mostly by the low cost carriers. Shuttles runs to/from Paris and the journey takes about one hour (17€).
