Provence, in a fertile region and famous for its wines, lies the city of Orange. The Roman Theatre is the most famous landmark of Orange. A statue of Augustus Caesar, responsible for founding the city, can be seen next to the theatre. The city is full of monuments such as the Roman Theatre and the Roman Triumphal Arch, due to these two monuments the city is considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
