North Historic Triangle
The “historic triangle” in Noord Holland
is composed of three small and charming places, Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik. This area north of Amsterdam, has typical Dutch landscapes with dikes, windmills and flower fields. There are splendid building with its elegant architecture, which emerged in the time of the East India Companies. The route in the Historic Triangle is made by steamboat and train. The first step of the journey is between Hoorn and Modemblik by train, it takes one hour. Then from Medemblik to Enkhuizen by boat in 75 minutes.
