Ko Samui

Located in the Gulf of Thailand,

80 kms from Surat Thani on the mainland is the island of Ko Samui, one of the main tourist spots of Thailand. Before Ko Samui be as busy as it is now, was a place where there were many backpackers who now seek more remote islands such as the neighboring Ko Pha Ngan and Ko Tao. Ko Samui has grown a lot but still has plenty of lovely beaches and almost deserted. The two main beaches are Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach, besides the beauty of the beach, there is a night activity with bars of beach parties every day.  Tourism is very important to the island, there are plenty of hotels of various categories, from basic bungalows on the beach up to luxury resorts. Apart from tourism, Ko Samui is a major producer of coconut harvesting more than 3 million units every month. Out of the busiest areas there are hotels that are true paradise on beautiful beaches and very calm. The small airport of Ko Samui receives dozens of flights daily, most from Bangkok but also other places like Krabi. Ko Samui in recent years has grown a lot and started calling it “the Gulf of Thailand Phuket” due to the large number of nightclubs and sex clubs that have opened. But as Phuket, outside the major centers keeps intact the beauty and the calm necessary for a dream vacation. Hotels in Ko Samui
