Ilha do Marajo
Marajó is a large river island,
greater than Switzerland. Marajó has the force of Amazon outflow on its north and the Tocantins/Para estuary on its south, the Atlantic is also very close. Marajó has beautiful wildlife and luxurious nature like the Miritzeiros (Amazon Royal Palms), dense mangroves and large groups of buffaloes. Soure is the largest city on the island of Marajó.
