and is geographically located in two districts of the city, Brooklyn and Queens. 190 km (110 mi) long and 37 km (23 mi) wide is really long. The Long Island is very populous and many of its residents work in New York City. During the summer the island hosts many tourists looking to visit its Atlantic beaches and its parks.
