Grand Canyon

Cut by the Colorado River, Grand Canyon

is one of the most famous landmarks of the United States extending for 332 km (220 mi) on the plateau of the desert in northern Arizona. In 1919 was appointed National Park and also considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The shades of red and gold mixed with orange cliffs and chasms purple provide one of the best natural views from around the world. The southern part of the Grand Canyon area is the most popular because it allows easy access from the main road that runs parallel to the edge of the canyon, there are also hiking trails and covered by most visitors. The northern part has a higher altitude, is even more remote and inaccessible in many places. The views are breathtaking.  The Grand Canyon is a spectacular variety of places which include swimming pools, waterfalls, narrow ravines and oasis. It is almost impossible to see the essence of the park in just one day, should include a boat trip on the Colorado River. The Skywalk is a unique experience and an engineering marvel. Hotels in Arizona
