Burano
Burano is an island located
in the Venetian Lagoon, 7 km (4 mi) north of the centre of the magical Italian city of Venice. Burano over the centuries has been badly treated by Venice, has no buildings with the splendor of the Grand Canal in order to receive mass tourism like Venice receives. In times ago, Burano was used by the reigning doge in Venice, as a garbage dump, the victims of the plague, malaria and madness. How to get Burano
There are vaporetto (water bus) from Venice’s Fondamenta Nuove to Burano. There are also water-taxi from Marco Polo Airport to Burano.
