Piazza della Signoria
Since the fourteenth century,
the Piazza della Signoria began to be used by inhabitants of Florence as a venue for discussing political and civil rights. The square shaped “L” has the Palazzo Vecchio its great attraction, there is still the Loggia dei Lanzi and the replica of the original sculpture of David which is right near there at the Academy Gallery.
