Toledo
It is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain,
with a rich history and stunning buildings. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, Toledo is located on a hill, surrounded on three sides by the Tagus River. The Alcázar and the Cathedral are the two most imposing buildings of Toledo, the Gothic cathedral was one of the most important in Spain and is such as the Cathedral of Burgos, the epitome of Gothic in Spain. The city was twice painted by Spanish painter, El Greco, there is a museum in his honor.
