Lanzarote is the most eastern island of
Spanish Canary Islands. Just 125 km off the coast of Africa, Lanzarote is the fourth largest of seven islands of the archipelago of Canary Islands. Arrecife is its capital and a nice place to start exploring this wonderful island with stunning landscapes. Lanzarote is UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Don’t miss the Timanfaya National Park, the Papagayo Beach (Playa de Papagayo), the Costa Los Horvideros, the Cueva de los Verdes, the Playa El Golfo and the amazing vineyards. The Tunnel of Atlantis is part of the lava tube Cueva de los Verdes is the largest underwater volcanic tunnel in the world.
