Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro was conceived

as a hymn of apology to socialism. The beauty of the stations and its sumptuous decor should be viewed by all visitors of Moscow. The original line was opened in 1935 although there were construction plans before the Russian Revolution. The metro is an underground museum, during the period of war served as protection from various works of art. More than 8 million passengers use the metro daily. Do not miss the stations of Kropotkinskaya, Mayakovskaya and Komsomolskaya, probably the most beautiful. There are other stations to see. Spend a morning or afternoon get in and get out the train in some stations. The name of the stations are usually in Cyrillic alphabet. Hotels in Moscow
