The Lake Baikal concentrates

20% of all fresh water on the planet. Known as “Siberian Galapagos” because of the huge number of endemic species of flora and fauna. The lake is about 11 km (7 mi) deep and is fed by 336 rivers. It is one of the most impressive sights of Siberia and Russia. You can get the Lake Baikal by bus, car or tourbus from Irkutsk to Listvyanka.
