São Vicente

São Vicente is a village located

in the north of Madeira Island. There is a road connecting Ribeira Brava to Sao Vicente across the island from south to north. The views along the way are stunning, especially at a place called Boca da Encumeada. São Vicente has charming narrow streets, charming houses and some important buildings such as the Church and the Chapel of St. Vincent, stuck on a rock.
