Acropolis means “high city” and this place is on a hill with stunning views over Athens. The Parthenon is the main building of the Acropolis, is a Doric temple built between 447 and 438 BC and made ​​with 3500 blocks of marble, all different from each other. It is a masterpiece of design, were used sophisticated techniques to neutralize optical effects.
