Cologne

Cologne is a German city situated

on the banks of the River Rhine. Cologne had a tragic night on May 31, 1942, when the Royal Air Force bombed the city that was completely destroyed. Miraculously, the Cologne Cathedral was hit, but did not collapse after long restoration, is again stunning and is the main monument of the city. The Cathedral is UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts many visitors to Cologne, but the city has more to show, the area along the Rhine is very beautiful and there are tens of hundreds of museums and galleries to visit. From Cologne it is worthy to visit the Augustusburg and Falkenlusts Palaces in the small city of Bruhl. Hotels in Cologne
