Zagreb is situated on the banks of the Sava River,

near the south of Mount Medvednica. The Trg Bana Jelacica, is the main square in Zagreb and separates the city into two parts. The Upper Town (Gornji Grad) is the oldest part of Zagreb, has two hills and many stunning buildings. The other area is Lower Town (Donji Grad) where you can find stunning squares, wide boulevards, parks and museums. St Catherine’s Church is one of the most beautiful churches of Croatia.
