Tiananmen Square is a large square located in the

heart of Beijing. Known worldwide since 1989 due to the protests that caused hundreds of deaths. It’s the fourth largest square in the world and can host one million people. The square includes The Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong and the National Museum of China.
