The Bay of Fundy is located in the south-east

of Canada off the provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, and touches on the US state of Maine. The Bay of Fundy is known for its huge tidal range that creates the highest tides in the world. The geology of the bay is unique. The tide’s effects are also felt in the rivers that flow into the Bay of Fundy, at low tide, the waters of St John River produce wild rapids in St John’s Harbour when they drop into the bay. The wildlife of the Bay of Fundy is also famous, the lobsters are very important for the bay’s economy. Orcas, whales, seals and dolphins are usually seen in the bay.
