Cradle Mountain

The Cradle Mountain is located

at the northern end of the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Claire National Park on the island of Tasmania in Australia. The Cradle Mountain is a peak formed by glaciers and has outstanding scenery of Lake Dove that lies below it. Don’t miss the walks ten minutes through the rainforest and the walks of three hours around the lake. The Lake St Clare is the Australia’s deepest freshwater lake. You will find fields of wildflowers, ancient forests of pines, lakes and waterfalls. You can get Cradle Mountain by road from Devonport, Launceston and Derwent Bridge.
