Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

is the world’s largest and oldest Koala sanctuary. Located in the suburbs of Brisbane, this sanctuary was founded in 1927. More than 100 Koalas live in this wonderful wildlife place. The Sanctuary includes also kangaroos, ostrichts, Tasmanian devils, platypus, reptiles and other animals. You can get Lone Pine by bus or boat from Brisbane city centre. There are discount on tickets to students and families. You can have a picture of you holding a koala in your arms, it’s not free but is worthy.
