Ko Racha
In the south of the island of Phuket,
lies Ko Racha an archipelago comprising two islands, Ko Racha Yai, the largest island, and Ko Racha Noi, the smallest island. The crystal blue waters of Ko Racha have been almost an exclusive paradise for the divers. Ko Racha Noi is 10 km (6 mi) away from Ko Racha Yai, it’s smaller, a paradise to dive, the water is emerald green and there’s no accomodation. You can get Ko Racha by ferry or speedboat from Ao Chalong and Rawai both ports in Phuket. The journey by speedboat takes 20-30 minutes, by ferry can take between one and half hour and three hours depending by the winds and waves.
