Singapore

Singapore is one of the few city-states in the world.

Situated on the southern end of the Malaysian peninsula, Singapore has 63 islands. In 1819 when it was just a small fishing village, was colonized by the British East India Company, due to the excellent geographical location in the Spice Route.

Occupied by the Japanese during World War II, Singapore became an independent republic in 1965. It is now one of the richest countries in the world, a multi-cultural city with a large presence of Chinese, Indians and Malaysians.

Don’t miss the Chinatown, Little India, Clarke Quay, the Orchard Road and the Island of Sentosa. The views of Marina Bay are stunning.

There are beautiful buildings in Singapore like the Raffles Hotel, the Esplanade Theatres of the Bay, the Fullerton Hotel, the Sri Mariamman Temple and many more places. The Port of Singapore is one of the busiest in the world. You must try the amazing night safari.
