the island of Java has twice the population of Britain and only half of its area. Jakarta, capital of Indonesia is the political and economic centre of the country. Some of the best and most expensive coffee in the world (Kopi Luwak) is produced in Java, it comes from the coffee berries that have been previously digested by palm civets, a type of wild cat.
