Goa is the smallest state of India.
Located in West India, Goa is the richest indian state per capita. Panaji is the state capital, Vasco da Gama the largest city and Margao a historic city with much influence of Portuguese culture. Don’t miss also the city of Old Goa and its beautiful churches considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Portuguese landed in 16th century and been there for about 450 years until it was annexed by India in 1961. Goa is known by its beautiful beaches, Arambol Beach is the most famous one, world heritage architecture and places of worship. Goa has one international airport located in Vasco da Gama.
