Paraty is a beautiful town located in
Costa Verde, a lush green corridor that runs along the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Paraty was founded by Portuguese colonizers in 1667 due to its important location in Gold Trail. The architecture of Paraty resembles Portuguese little villages especially in the south. Paraty is one of the most picturesque towns of Brazil. You can get Paraty from Rio de Janeiro by bus.
