The Tren a las Nubes (Train to the Clouds)
was built in 1940, is the third largest railway in the world. A trip on the Tren de las Nubes is a hallucinatory journey of 220 km (136 mi) in zigzags in more complex topography of the planet through 13 viaducts, 29 bridges and 21 tunnels. The city of Salta initiates the route that passes through breathtaking mountains and villages.
